I drove Bob over with the Mazda and then came home to have the trailer ready to go. Bob had to put 100 miles on the new transmission before we hooked the trailer up. We can not say enough good about the Dodge Dealership in Hillsdale.
100 miles of back roads later Bob pulled in and hooked up the trailer and off we went at about 4:00 in the afternoon. Bob said he didn't care if we only stayed in Fort Wayne, he just wanted to be on the road.
All went well till we were on the outskirts of Indianapolis and a warning light came on saying we needed an oil change. Bob had just had the oil changed. So we found a pull off and Bob called the dealership again. He assured Bob all was well and the dash would soon reset itself. A little further down the road and another warning came on that the connection for the trailer lights was disconnected. So we pulled over and Bob checked that all out again and made sure all was in good working order. Thank God Bob is mechanical or I think we might have given up.
We finally pulled into a KOA in Terra Haute, Indiana. It was very dark and we were very tired. We were thankful for such a nice, clean, quiet parl and we slept like babies!
